What is Dimensigon (DM) in a nutshell?

Dimensigon (DM) is an Automation and Administration RESTful framework to make easier heterogeneous/polyglot orchestrations.

DM sets a mesh distributed network respecting your current complex infrastructure, firewalls, data silos, and all possible security configurations (e.g. Hybrid Multi-Cloud).

It adds an extra layer of security with ACLs and accessing servers and resources through RESTful with double encryption that we well cover below.

DM is our internal automation technology at store.dimensigon.com, we had designed it for volatile environments and building elastic services. As well, it is useful to provide support to different tenants (clients) with the possibility to plug-off a customer at any time (check-out).

• What is a polyglot orchestration? It is an orchestration composed of different automation technologies, as for example, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Shell scripting, and others.

• Mesh network? Why do I need this? Most companies have subnets and use different clouds, on-prem silos, and network zones. Therefore, if you want to have a standard to manage all different automation technologies in a simple way. DM is very indicated for this use case.
